Students will be expected to perform a short sightreading selection.

Drummers will also demonstrate the following beat patterns in 4/4 time: Bossa, Funk, Samba, Shuffle, and Swing.

Students are encouraged, but not required, to improv over standard chord changes to “DBC Blues.”
